It is a card payment system that removes cash. This dematerialized payment system is the only way to pay for your purchases on the festival site.
You can get a card at all cashless points on the festival site ( see festival map ).
Yes, it is possible to obtain a preloaded card (50, 100 or 200.-) in advance from August at the festival office in Avenches.
It is not necessary, you can load your cashless card using your EC card, your Postcard, Twint, or your credit card (VISA, Mastercard). However, we advise festival-goers to come to the site with cash, it takes less time to recharge than with an EC card or a credit card.
Yes, you cannot put more than CHF 250.- per load on your card. There is no minimum amount.
Heck, no luck… You can block your card only if you have downloaded the “Rock Oz'Arènes” mobile application and registered your cashless card. If you do not have the application, unfortunately the remaining balance of your card will be lost, in the same way as if you lose a bank note.
In addition to the card, festival-goers can obtain the “Rock Oz'Arènes” mobile application for free. Through the app, you can:
- Associate the application with your cashless card (by inserting the number which appears on the back of the cashless card).
- Access the history of your expenses.
- Know the balance of your cashless card.
- Block your card in case of loss.
- Load your card yourself (you must link your credit card).
- Request reimbursement of the balance (by bank transfer between August 19 and December 31, 2019).
- Consult the info and the festival program.
Please note: The application can only be used on the festival site if you have a telephone or wifi network. The app works with IOS and Android systems, and can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play. It takes a few minutes between loading from the application and activating the amount on your card.

By bank transfer : to avoid having to queue for reimbursement that same evening, you can do so at home after the festival. From Monday, August 19, you must go to the rockozarenes.com/cashless website , fill out the form with your bank information and your money will be refunded by bank transfer within 15 days (only to bank accounts in Switzerland). Bank refunds are made in partnership with TicketCorner.
