THE CASHLESS SYSTEM
Launched in 2016, the cashless system will be in force again this year at Rock Oz’Arènes. This dematerialized card payment system will be the only way to pay for your purchases in the various bars and stands.
Each festival-goer will be able to get a cashless card in the numerous festival cash desks and charge the amount of money they want. It will also be possible to be reimbursed for the balance of unused money (in cash, by bank transfer and via the Rock Oz’Arènes mobile application).
GET AND LOAD A CARD BEFORE THE FESTIVAL
In order to facilitate the reception of spectators, it is possible to buy in advance a preloaded card of 50, 100 or 200 francs at the office of Rock Oz’Arènes, place du Château 2, in Avenches By obtaining this famous card beforehand, the festival-goer avoids possible queues at the cash desks and can take advantage of the bars and stands as soon as he arrives on the site.
GET AND LOAD A CARD DURING THE FESTIVAL
You must go to one of the cashless points ( see map ) to obtain and load the card:
- With cash.
- With an EC card, Postcard, Twint, credit card (VISA, Mastercard).
KNOW THE BALANCE ON THE CARD
With each payment, the remaining balance of your card is displayed on the control screen of the cash register of the bar or stand, as well as on the Rock Oz’Arènes mobile application.
REFUND OF THE CARD BALANCE
In cash: on the festival site at all cashless points during the opening hours of the festival.
By bank transfer: From Monday August 19, go to the rockozarenes.com/cashless website, fill out the form with your bank details and the number on the back of the cashless card (reimbursement in 15 days, only to bank accounts in Europe).
Via the Rock Oz’Arènes mobile application: by creating an account on the application with your bank information and inserting the number on the back of your cashless card (between 19 August and December 31).
Requests for reimbursement by bank transfer can be made from Monday, August 19, and must reach us before December 31, 2019.
LOSS OF CARD
Damn, no luck … You can block your card only if you have downloaded the mobile application “Rock Oz” Arenas “and registered your cashless card. If you do not have the application, unfortunately the remaining balance of your card will be lost, in the same way as if you lose a bank note.

In addition to the card, festival-goers can get the “Rock Ozâ € ™ Arènes” mobile app for free. Thanks to the application, you can:
- Associate the application with your cashless card (by inserting the number on the back of the cashless card).
- Access the history of your expenses.
- Know the balance of your cashless card.
- Block your card in case of loss.
- Load your card yourself (you must link your credit card).
- Request reimbursement of the balance (by bank transfer between August 19 and December 31).
- Consult the festival info and program.
Please note: The application can only be used on the festival site if you have a telephone or Wi-Fi network. The application works with the IOS system and Android, and can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store or Google Play. A delay of a few minutes is necessary between the loading from the application and the activation of the amount on your card.
